Jason Fleming

I am a designer for apps, web and more.

Building on a background in print and branding, my current work is in digital product consulting and design for web and mobile apps.

I have had the privilege of working in many different mediums with a wide variety of clients. Much of my work has been in the non-profit sector, with much of my current workload in the medical device sectors, financial services and national franchise operations.

I spend more and more of my time helping guide organizations to good technology purchasing decisions. An app or web property must be one that you can live with long after launch. This involves understanding business needs and capabilities first and foremost.

Currently, I am a partner at Convey Studio where I create engaging designs and interactions for enterprise mobile solutions, mostly for the medical device industry.

Selected Clients

Much of my current work is under NDAs or on internal corporate projects, and cannot by publicly posted.

However, much of it can be presented privately upon request.

BA, Political Science

University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign — 1998 to 2002

My major focus of study was in international relations with a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures.

While not typically a course of study pursued by budding designers, it has proved invaluable in understanding people and helps foster engaging dinner party conversation.

For the last 14 years I have enjoyed the wonders of living an outdoor-focused life at the foot of the Rockies in Colorado Springs.

Over the last three years, my wife and I have traveled extensively, living in New Zealand for a while and Chiang Mai for a short time. I could bore you with stories, or you can see the pictures on Instagram.
